“computer guru” Jaeger

Believe it or not, make money selling custom computers on eBay is easy. I have personally helped people make anywhere from 35% – 50% profit for each computer, with the sales average of 00 computers. (This is more than 0 Net income – at the bottom)

There is one simple reason, most computer manufacturers can not sell their computers with success. You see, there are two kinds of people there are the “techies” and “the people”.

Techies

enjoy understanding how things work. You take things from them again, only to learn how to use the element together. When a “techno” buys a car, they want to learn more about how the engine works, and it’s all part names. If they talk to someone, they enjoy about the differences in the “specifications” to speak.

Then there are “people people.” They are completely happy without knowing how things work -. As long as they work, what they do, fun is involved with people. They love to get in the middle of the different social dynamics, care is usually very happy about what their friends so think

This is not a class psyche, but what about learning tricks to successfully sell five computers on ebay. So why do I mention this “techno” state of mind

As you can imagine, most computer manufacturers technophiles. The five towers are not .. really tricks on all these five tips you can get out “spec” mode, and success in the sale of fashion is here.

1) Most computer manufacturers eBay to five pages of specifications, this turns off most browsers. In contrast to “techies”, most people do not really put on the detailed care and to not appreciate, so it does not, save yourself the grief and valuable customers.

2) Use of audio / video to your offer. This is very powerful, like your personality in audio and video much better than you can express yourself in person

3) Add personality to your bid. Essentially, you have to tell people why they should buy from you. You do this by telling yourself and the people what you have in your computer? What fascinates you about computers? What makes you so confident in your ability to build computers

4) to contact the people around you and ask questions. I do this show on my auction. I tell people that my program via phone, email, or contact eBay member.

5) Insert an instant-messaging service (Meebo like me) to make it easier on your offer for you to contact people.

If these tips to make your eBay auction of computer you are well on your way to success.

3D scanner: 3D scanning implies analyzing the real-world environment or objects for collecting data on their appearance, i.e. color and shape. Digital 3D models can be constructed from the data collected. Such devices are being used by the amusement industry extensively for producing video games and movies. This technology is more widely used in reverse engineering, industrial design, prototyping, keeping records of cultural artifacts, and computer vision. A number of technologies have been used for building the three-dimensional scanning devices. Every technology has limitations, costs, and advantages.

Functionality: The idea behind using a three-dimensional scanner is creating a Point Cloud of the Geometric Samples on the subject’s surface. The subject’s shape can then be extrapolated by using these points. If information regarding color is gathered at every juncture, the determination of colors on subject’s surface can be easily done. 3D scanners share analogy with cameras. If one tries to define a Spherical Coordinate System wherein the origin would be the scanner and vector would be drawn from front of it such that θ=0 and ?=0, then every point in picture would be associated with θ and ?. Combined with distance that corresponds to r component 3D position of every point in picture is described by the spherical coordinates.

Technology: 3D scanners consist of two types- non-contact and contact. Non-contact three-dimensional scanners could be divided further into 2 major categories- passive and active scanners.

Non-Contact Active: Some light or radiation is always emitted by active scanners. It is advised to detect the reflection of this light, as it would help in locating environment or an object. The kinds of emission possibly used include x-ray, ultrasound, or light.

Contact: Contact three-dimensional scanners locate the subject by the way of physical touch. The best example of contact three-dimensional scanner is a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine). It is widely used in manufacturing processes due to its precision. However, it has a disadvantage that contact with object to be scanned is required. The target object might get modified or damaged by scanning. Historical artifacts, in particular, have to be specially taken care of.

3D Prototyping: 3D prototyping is the subset of rapid prototyping. The basic advantage of 3D prototyping is that numerous materials can be used as base materials. It involves taking of virtual designs through CAD (computer-aided design) or Animation Modeling software, transforming them into virtual, thin, and horizontal cross sections, and then creating every cross-section in the physical space, 1 by 1 till the model gets completed.

It should be noted that STL File Format is the interface between machines and CAD software. This interface carries out the approximation of shape of an assembly or part by making use of triangular facets. Surfaces of a superior quality are produced by smaller facets. 3D prototyping is believed to be the ‘next level’ equipment by most of the experts of this field. Pioneer companies are striving to master the technique. The conservative prototyping machines cost around 25000 pounds, as per the study conducted in the year 2005.

Excerpt from: 3D Scanner Technology, 3D Scanning and 3D Scanner Technology

By Aimmy Witakon

They are used to capture video and still photography, digitally by recording images. They are glossy and shiny, and present numerous amenities.

The Pros

1. They store pictures digitally, using detachable cards. One can buy a sole photo storage card that will permit you to take about 360 pictures. In a normal film, that consists of 15 rolls. A removable storage card is small and can be easily carried anywhere

2. After you capture a picture, you can see the view instantly. Now with this technology, you don’t have to worry about how you look or your eyes being closed, if you’re not satisfied with it you can always take more picture according to your needs.

3. Unlike the normal camera, the digital camera comes with the option of ‘deleting’ your unwanted videos/pictures. You can take as many photos as you like without the fear of wasting your film.

4. You never have to publish a single photo you take. You can save all your pictures easily on the computer and print the ones you really like. This saves the trouble of disposing off the bad ones.

5. Many of these cameras are quite handy. Since they don’t require space for film etc, they are very lightweight and small. Some cam?s are as small are a credit card but slightly thicker. They can easily be carried in pouches, handbags etc.

The Drawbacks

1. Digital cameras are like mini computers. Yet the easy ones come with numerous operations, settings, techniques, buttons etc. Day by day, competitors launch new cameras with new features in order to cut down competition, this addition of new features means that the customer now has to learn how to operate them accordingly.

2. The most convenient way of sharing your pictures is by uploading them on the internet. There are quite a few web sites that permit uploading of pictures and then ordering prints. If you have a slow internet connection i.e. dial up, then uploading pictures might be a time consuming and slow process.

3. These cameras use typical AA batteries. Some of them also use specific rechargeable batteries made only for that specific camera. They are disreputable for consuming A LOT of battery. A regular film camera’s battery can run up to 5 years. Digital Cams batteries will run out depending on its use, the amount of usage determines the amount of battery consumed. Rechargeable batteries and backup batteries are a must for such cameras.

4. The cost of such a camera depends on its features. A normal film camera would cost around $100-$200, on the other hand the digital cam cost $250 ‘ onwards depending on the features and additional costs of storage cards can cost up to $70. Film cameras are cheaper.

5. Digital photographs create huge files. An undersized hard drive will fill up instantly. A sluggish computer can make the procedure of viewing photos annoying. In order to save your pictures, you must have sufficient features in your home computer

More: Digital Cameras – Smart Gadget to Store Special Moments

By Rich Russell

Digital camera binoculars are a cool item to buy as a gift for the gadget freak who has everything. But are the just for people who have to leap on the latest technology, whatever it happens to be, or could they serve some purpose for the rest of us? First, what are they? Simply, they are binoculars with a digital camera built in.

So why would you want them? Well, binoculars in themselves have come very much into the mainstream. A quick search online will turn up dozens of retailers selling vast range of them from manufacturers you will have heard of and probably some that you haven’t. Somebody must be buying them and how many technology geeks can there be?

Binoculars do have many uses in the real world. You may find pleasure in sailing, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, bird watching, astronomy, or watching sports or other outdoor events. A pair of binoculars can add a new dimension to any of these pastimes. If it’s good to be in the great outdoors or at a great event, isn’t it better to be able to see it up close and personal. To zoom right in and see details that are normally unavailable to you.

Camera binoculars can to take it a stage further. If you do happen to get a breathtaking view in your lenses, a magical wildlife moment or a climactic point in a sporting event, now you can preserve the memory forever. Imagine catching a killer whale momentarily breeching the waves. Instead of telling your friends about it, you would be able to show them.

What are these camera binoculars all about? Most people are familiar with the general principle of binoculars if not the details. They enable you to bring distant objects up close and into focus. And digital cameras are insanely cheap these days, to the point where you can pick up a pretty good one from the supermarket while you shop for your groceries. There must be few people who don’t own them or haven’t used them.

What do you get when you put them together and how much does it cost? Binoculars themselves come in many varieties and from cheap to frighteningly expensive. Camera binoculars, surprisingly, tend to come in at the cheaper end of the market. One reason for this is that the binocular technology is usually not at the cutting edge. The magnification is in the low to medium range, not the sort of thing that the dedicated bird watcher is likely to buy.

Similarly, while digital cameras with 10 megapixel resolution are now becoming very affordable, the best you are likely to find in a camera binocular is half of that. And many come with much lower resolution, probably less than you would have in your camera phone. So why does that matter? A 4 megapixel camera will produce very high quality images. It depends what you want to do with them.

If you want to print your images, low resolution will limit the quality and the size of the images you are able to produce. Personally, I believe that the main advantage of digital images is that you don’t have to print them. I have seen far more of my images on a computer screen than I ever did when they were printed and stuck away in a cupboard somewhere.

Let’s look at a practical example. This is not intended as a product review, just an indication of what is available. I have chosen the Bushnell Imageview 8×30 with 5MP camera to take a look at. For those not familiar with binoculars, Bushnell is a respected manufacturer. The 8 in the title refers to 8 times magnification. In other words an object would appear 8 times closer than if seen with the naked eye. The 30 refers to the diameter in millimetres of the front lenses which influences the amount of light that enters.

The camera is 5 megapixel and has a 1.5 inch pop up screen. It has 16mb of flash memory built in and this can be expanded with an SD card up to 2 GB. The camera also has 8 times magnification. I would regard a 5MP camera as perfectly acceptable but I have read reviews claiming it to be woefully inadequate. That’s gadget freaks for you.

In a nutshell, for what is regarded as a compact, pocket sized binocular, this unit will perform pretty well, producing good, crisp images. At the time of writing, this model is on sale for just under $175. Not outrageously expensive, I’m sure you’ll agree.

So do digital camera binoculars have applications for those of us who are not busy chasing the latest techie trends? I think that they could enhance a lot of outdoor activities, adding to the fun and preserving the memories.

It is best to know more about digital cameras if you are to take advantage of the advance technology they offer. Digital cameras are modern gadgets, no doubt. Thirty years ago, they were unheard of. Now, every family has one. Their appearance has changed forever the way we preserve memories and special moments of our loved ones.

About Digital Cameras – How They Function

Digital cameras have small computers in them to capture and record images digitally. Instead of film, digital cameras have sensors that convert images of light into electrical charges. Almost every one of them are user-friendly and any novice without any knowledge can take a picture or two the first time he holds one. They are all designed with convenience and high quality images in mind. New models are now so light and compact. They are operated with buttons and everything is just so easy to manipulate like the zoom and the power on. Some models also come with video capability. You just need an extra memory card to provide the extra space to store those videos.

While they are so convenient to use, users should also know a thing or two about digital cameras and terms used in relation to them like resolution or pixels. A digital camera’s resolution refers to the sharpness of the images it captures. In other words, it is the amount of detail it can possibly record. Resolution is measured in pixels. The higher the resolution, the better the images it produces.

However, this also means heavier images in your camera’s and computer’s memory. Ideally, digital photos for e-mailing should have a resolution of not higher than 640 x 480. Resolution any higher than this would be very heavy already. For printing quality, digital photos should have at least a resolution of 1216 x 912.

About Digital Cameras – How to Care for Them

Make sure that your digital camera is free of dust and dirt. It should be kept in its case when not in use. Moisture and heat are also no-no’s for digital cameras. Keep them away from the elements at all times. If you live in an environment with high humidity, be sure to get some silica gel to keep the moisture away.

Always handle digital cameras with care, whether they are the less expensive ones or those that cost a fortune. Protect them from knocks, magnetic fields and vibrations. When traveling with one, ensure that it is kept safe during the trip.

Before removing the memory card or disconnecting the power source, turn it off first. Although this is common sense, many people forget it.

Digital cameras are so important now in this age of advanced technology. They are used by friends and family to stay in touch, to preserve special memories and even used extensively in the workplace and businesses.

By knowing more about digital cameras, how to use and take care of them, you will be able to produce better quality images and thereby get your money’s worth. Further, you will be able to enjoy them for a long time.
